Terra Sounds School of Music & Arts is seeking a motivated self-starter to join our administrative team. There is a 10-hour unpaid training period to start off new administrators. Duties will consist of performing the following set of administrative tasks:

• coordinating school schedule using MindBody Online software
• communicating with clients and instructors and keeping contact logs
• facilitating lesson & class logistics
• processing payments
• answering phone calls & e-mails
• actively promoting and selling the school's services 
• helping with a variety of marketing efforts
• facilitating events and workshops

Requirements
Skills & Qualifications: 

The ideal candidate is outgoing, creative, detail-oriented, has exceptional oral and written communication skills, a passion for music and the arts, strong computer skills (word processing, e-mail, online scheduling, etc.), and lives close to downtown Glenview. Flexibility in schedule (ability to be at the school on a short notice), familiarity with the music & art school environment, and fluency in a foreign language are a plus. Previous administrative and sales experience preferred, but not required. College graduates, students currently pursuing a degree, and ambitious high-schoolers are all welcome to apply.
